Fondations Capital considers that taking into account the social and environmental impact of its portfolio companies is an integral part of its governance responsibilities as a Private Equity investor.

Fondations Capital team is committed to analyzing and monitoring corporate policies, beyond their purely financial aspects, in key areas such as corporate culture, environmental footprints and the respect of fundamental human rights.

Fondations Capital considers that these factors are integral parts of risk assessment, but also potential opportunities and sources of value creation.

To this end, Fondations Capital has worked with Vigeo to establish its Corporate and Social Responsibility Charter.

It expresses the social responsibility principles and goals which Fondations Capital integrates into its investment decisions and which its portfolio companies must take into account in the conduct of their business.

Based on fundamental goals, as expressed by major international bodies (UN, ILO, OECD, etc.), the Fondations Capital Charter is applied by the firm's investment teams on the basis of their experience and in order to make such principles effective and relevant in the field.
